You will have 2 Free Ad listings with 30 days validity from the date of listing. Once you exhaust your free listings, you can always purchase additional listings and packages from the Outrent Website.
Every user has 2 free listing thresholds, once you exhaust it, you can avail paid listings through 'Buy Listing Plans' on the outrent platform and purchase additional listing packages from the multiple packages based on your listing requirement.
Featured ad is special tagging which boost your ad position on top among other ads to get your ad noticed to maximum viewers.
Every ad has a validity of 30 days. Once the validity of 30 days is over, you need to activate your ad by purchasing additional listings. There can be other reason as well for the ads to be deactivated for e.g., Forbidden products, Bad title or Bad description, Duplicate ad, Suspicious Ad, inappropriate images etc which violates Outrent policies.
Lenders can set their own rental prices. If they are not sure how to price it, then check out similar items renting around you. You have to manually set Daily, Weekly or Monthly pricing, our Outrent algorithm will then calculate per-day price for renters. As the number of days increases, we suggest to reduce price incrementally to make it more attractive to the borrower. Lower weekly and monthly rental encourages longer rentals.
Outrent does not charge any commission on the item selected by the user. You can directly pay to the Lender as per the mode of payment terms agreed.
You can find the right item through the outrent search bar by filtering the right category and location. Once you click on search, the desired result will show on the page. You can then further select specific ads which matches your requirement and contact Lender.
Correctly categorizing your item is the key and will help the borrower to search it more easily. If you are still not able to find, we would suggest to always refer to the existing items renting around you and posted under which category.
You can always optimize your listing by following these key points listed below:

- 2. Click pictures which are appealing and more attractive to the borrower
- 3. Describe your items accurately in the description which would match potential renter's requirement.
- 4. Better response rate by replying to chat messages from potential borrowers.
- 5. Complete your user profile for users to know you better with picture and a short bio to let others users know who you are.

First you need to log into Outrent and have a use profile. Scroll through the ads and if you find something interesting, your can further contact the renter by either through outrent chat option or call option.
Once you contacted the Lender through the outrent platform, you can meet the renter personally to collect the selected item. As this would be your first meeting with the renter, we would suggest you meet the renter in public place which is safe and not in isolated location for security reasons. Always accompany someone during first visit.
Renter has an option to charge Security deposit against that particular item before lending it. Security Deposit acts as a safety net for the lender in case if something goes wrong. Security Deposit build a sense of trust to the Lender. Security deposit is refundable, once the item is returned back to the lender after inspection, the security deposit is refunded immediately.
What happens in case an item or any product gets accidentally damaged/lost during the rental period?
Our lenders value trust and if any items is damaged or lost, the lender can always hold the security deposit or the borrower can repair the item and give back in its original state or the borrower can resolve it with lender and compensate mutually.
As part of Outrent's Know Your Customer (KYC) process, you will be required to provide details like your Name, Email, Contact Number, Photo and location.
Lender can decide on the payment method and payment date option for their item with the borrower.
Lender and Borrower need to arrange and coordinate for delivery and pick-up. Outrent does not provide delivery services.
Yes, you can always get your payment invoices under 'Invoices and Billing' section in your user profile.
You can contact lender any time before the end of the tenure. If the item is still available, then the lender can always have the option to extend the tenure of the existing product or item to the borrower.
